Hi! I’m Lil

An artist at heart….

I grew up in the coastal town of Friendship, Maine. Though commonly known as a lobstering community, it’s most notably known for building the beautiful Friendship Sloops; which, if you’re a sailing/boating enthusiast, you will recognize the name of this sleepy little town immediately! Though I haven’t lived there in many years, the sea has always called to me, which can be noted in many of the hand-made items I have created over the years.

I have been painting for more than 30 years and love it!! Over the past few years, I learned about using resin and have added that to my repertoire, creating many one-of-a-kind 3-D framed works of art. I draw inspiration from daily sightings of things or even from personal experiences from my past or present. I never know what’s going to come to mind next, which makes it all the more fun…! Most of the beautiful shells that are used in my artwork were personally hand-picked from the rock-bound coast of Maine, along with sand dollars, natural rocks, sand, seaweed, and many other elements.
